It’s a small world after all

I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season this year.  I know I sure did!  After Christmas my family and I headed to Florida to spend New Years at Disney World with my extended family.  With a 15 month old it was hard to see all we wanted to, but we did have a lot of fun regardless.  I was also thrilled that I was able to book a Florida photographer to take family shots of my own family while we were there so I’m finally free of the “photographer’s curse” where I have photos of everyone else and their families, but none of my own with me in them (link at the bottom of this post). Our little girl thoroughly enjoyed her first trip to Disney and especially her first ride on “It’s a Small World” as she blew kisses to all the little characters.  On the topic of what a small world it is, today was my first session of 2010 with a beautiful woman who needed headshots for her drama career.  A few months ago I had done photos of a gorgeous maternity mama and we later discovered we have a few connections and this woman was one of them!  My maternity client had actually been this woman’s high school drama teacher!  I had a great time with this session and am amazed at how fast I’m booking up for this year already!  I am currently working on a new pricing structure that will include a special package for headshot sessions so if you’re interested in getting headshots please check out the “collections” section of my site that will be introduced over the weekend.

If you’re interested here is the link to my own family photo session that included my Aunt and Uncle along with their two teens, plus my father and stepmother, my husband, myself and my baby girl *PHEW* LINK

  • Carrie - Well I guess I’d be that connection – thanks – you brought tears to my eyes, again. And this young woman is as stunning as ever. I miss teaching her – but look forward to the launch of her career and seeing her in her upcoming show – “Anything Goes”ReplyCancel
