This little gal came in a few months ago for her newborn photos. I was so excited when her dad brought his RCMP gear to use in some of her photos. What a neat thing to incorporate into your newborn photos if you’re an officer! I am always in awe of how brave our police officers and RCMP officers are in their daily lives to keep our cities safe. Now these mom and dad officers have the most important person in the world to protect…she is a lucky girl to have such brave parents. I really loved working with you and I hope to see you guys again soon! Thank you for coming to see me for your newborn session and even more thanks for all that you do to keep our world a little safer!

These twins have been coming to see me this year ever since they were still growing in their mommy’s beautiful baby bump! Every time they come in I am just shocked at how organized their mom and dad are and how calm they can be when faced with two little babies needing them all the time. This cake smash was unlike any other I have had and I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of it! We all were absolutely COVERED in icing by the end of it, but it was so worth it to see them looking so cute in their one year photos.

And a shot of what my studio looks like AFTER a twin cake smash…

I know you’ve probably all had your fill of sweetness tonight if you’re busy raiding your kid’s candy bags like we are, but we had to share something else sweet over here tonight to keep on track towards catching up the blog! I photographed these newborn twins a few months ago. This family has been coming to me since the very beginning of my business almost! I have photographed their wedding, first pregnancy, first newborn, second maternity images and most recently the newest addition of two sweet bundles of joy. I absolutely LOVE watching families come back as they grow and go through life’s most special moments. I also think it becomes even more fun as we form our own relationships to each other. This dad is always going to be known as “Beyonce” to me because I love to poke fun at him being a bit of a diva (he’s really not but it became a joke at one of our sessions hahaha!) and I always have such a good time when I get to photograph their family.

The little boy component of this duo was wide awake for most of the session and then when he did fall asleep he let us know how he felt about his twin sister HAHAHA! Had to include that outtake in here of course! Thanks for coming to see me guys!

Happy Halloween to all of you! Ella wanted to wear her witch costume for her photos, but for Halloween she decided to go as a blue bird (to match the little parrotlet that lives in our office we added to our family a month ago). Wishing all of you a safe and fun filled night of trick-or-treating, spooky stories and pumpkin carving!
