Over the past 7 months since my daughter was born I have given myself the photography assignment of doing a photoshoot for her on the day of her birth each month. It gives me practice with each age group and a file I can look back at for posing ideas when I have someone coming with a baby a certain age. Plus it’s nice as a mommy to have this record of her growth! Today we tried out my new chair (don’t worry daddy was spotting her so she wouldn’t fall!). HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my little “ladybird”!!! xoxo

I had to set this one up and get dad to take the photo for this shot, in case you’re wondering how I’m in this one haha!

This little guy and his mom came over today to do some photos. He was the most serious little two year old I’ve ever met I think! He was so cute playing with puzzles and telling us how all the bears were feeling based on their facial expressions. This little man seems like he’s always in deep thought about something! Later, we went outside to let him play for behaving so well inside and got some shots of him just being a boy. What a CUTIE!!!

I headed out to a local park for some photos of my cousin and her family tonight and we had a BLAST! I had hoped to get some good shots on the pier as we were by the lake, but 5 minutes in, one of the little tikes took a dip in the lake by accident! Only up to his legs, but we decided water was maybe not such a great idea and moved onto dry land hahaha! What a beautiful family and what a trooper the little guy was doing all these photos with wet feet and jeans! Maybe we’ll try again when he’s feeling more comfortable. Thanks guys for hanging out with me and my camera tonight!!!

This little guy and his brother have HEAPS of personality! Big brother listened to his music while I took photos of his new little “bruvva” and we managed to get him in for a couple shots at the end too. Now this mama is outnumbered 3:1 by redheaded men! Somebody’s gonna have her hands full HAHAHA!

Special thanks to Ewa from Mamique Designs for the GORGEOUS coccoon! Her knits can be found here: Mamique Designs

Thank you also to Jacy from BitOWhimsy for the hat:
