Another sweet newborn to share here. There were so many beautiful babies born this summer and fall and I was so fortunate to be able to photograph so many of them. You might remember this family from their maternity session a few posts back where we did the picnic in the park and I couldn’t believe it when it was time for their newborn session already. They are part of my Watch Me Grow Collection and I can’t wait to see them again for their next session to see how much this little cutie grows!

This mom to be’s mom and my mom have been friends for a LONG time now! I have enjoyed watching her family grow so much. She is one of the best moms I know researching everything she does for her boys and making sure she is environmentally friendly at every turn. She introduced us to this magical bubble bath we use in our house that keep the night time crankies at bay, she bought us our first cloth diaper for our baby shower which encouraged us to cloth diaper Ella when she was a baby and I have learned so many other great things about keeping my own family healthy through her. I am so excited that they have completed their family with their third little one (a girl in the mix!) and here is a share of her maternity session a couple of months ago, with some out takes of course!

Two little hams didn’t hold back their feelings about posing with mama’s baby bump HAHAHA! They crack me up!

The oldest of the three is an aspiring photographer and asked if he could take some shots of his dad in the studio before they left. I can’t wait to see what he comes up with starting from such a young age!

This mom was referred to me by a family who has been in a sample album of mine in the studio for 3 years now! It was so great to meet another part of that family and work with this newest addition! I could not get over how beautiful this little girl was. She has the most beautiful skin tone and features and was just sleepy, snuggly and pure sweetness for her whole session. She was full of pouty, kissy faces and smiles too! I think this is one of my new favourites of the newborn sessions I have done recently and I hope you enjoyed your session! Thank you so much for coming to see me!

I loved meeting this family. This was another session my business partner for weddings, Trina, wanted to do, but couldn’t because of her maternity leave. She always has such great families that I love when I get a referral coming from her. This little one’s big brother is another one of those natural big siblings who was so well behaved and so great with his new little brother it was a joy to watch them interact. It always makes sibling shots easier when there is no jealousy and just pure love between children. I had a great time chatting with them about how they have found the age difference between their children as Bryan and I start to think about planning another addition to our own family. It was great to know that they have found this a great age difference and I hope that our family is as calm and happy with a new addition in a year or so as this family is! Thank you so much for trusting me with your newborn session!

I just love the tiny little details of newborns. Look at these sweet little fingers and toes!

I had a lot of twins come to see me this year, but I think most have been boy-girl twins. I absolutely loved meeting these twin girlies and seeing how similar, but yet how very different they are already! A session with two who were both teething was a challenge to be perfectly honest, but their parents were so very patient with the process (I suppose they have had a lot of practice haha!), and we still managed to get some great shots even if the ladies weren’t too smiley that day. I love the little outfits they brought along too and had a great time getting as silly as I could to stop any tears that morning, hopefully their mom and dad have recovered from listening to my horrible singing voice (sometimes you just have to do what it takes hahaha!).

HA! Made ya smile!

And Dad wanted one that represented how they were truly feeling that day…I call this one “It’s my party and I’ll cry if I want to” hahaha!
