PORT MOODY DOG PHOTOGRAPHER-Hamish

I am finally back to catching up on things here! I am so sorry I haven’t kept you all up to date over here, I’ve just been swamped with newborns coming early or late, swapping sessions, plus the other ages and pups in the mix as well haha! I do keep my business page on Facebook up to date since I can add images as I go over there so if you want to always be seeing the latest please “like” my page by clicking the link that says “facebook” here on the blog or searching “Ashleigh Wells Photography” on Facebook.

This session was one I did back in April! I was in a rush getting my daughter home from daycare (as usual) so I could start dinner, get some snuggle time in before bed and then start my editing for the night. As I hobbled into Shoppers Drug Mart to pick up a parcel that came for me that day while trying to balance my daughter on my hip, my purse on my arm and the parcel, I noticed this handsome dog (named Hamish) sitting patiently in front of the store. I could not take my eyes off him. I had noticed a woman walking a dog and lo and behold there she was right in front of me! I have NEVER done this before, but I just HAD to photograph this dog! I asked her if it was her dog and she explained it was her mother’s dog. So I gave her my card and asked her to get her mother to give me a call because I wanted to add this sweetheart to my portfolio haha! Her mother kindly agreed to meet me at the park with him and even postponed his haircut for the photos. We spent the morning at Buntzen Lake and I realized that she was NOT joking around when she said that Goldendoodles have a lot of energy. HOLY SMOKES was he excited to be there! We really didn’t manage many shots without his tongue lolling out because of that, but seriously, that is just so…HAMISH! Thank you so much for allowing me to photograph your beautiful pup!

Seriously…the dog CLIMBED. A. TREE. He was so excited to be there HAHA!
