Sweet Family

Yesterday I had a photoshoot with a really great family! They recieved their session as a gift from coworkers a few months ago but were travelling and didn’t have a chance to get in before now. I have to admit I was a little worried at the prospect of taking photos of a 7 year old, a 3 year old and an 8 month old since it can be very challenging to work with kids those ages sometimes, but these three were no doubt three of the best behaved children I have EVER met! The eldest seemed a little shy at first, but was a natural model and looks beautiful in her photos. The 3 year old boy seemed shy at first as well, but when he started to warm up I definitely could see there’s a little mischievious side to him as he made silly faces for the camera (I love to get a couple silly face shots of boys this age especially…and they love posing for them too hahaha!). The youngest girl had the sweetest smile! No teeth poking through yet, but she was all smiles for the camera. A huge part of what I love about my job is the little quirks and personality traits I get to observe while I’m photographing them and I do my best to capture those things. This little baby girl just had the cutest habit of having her tongue up to the roof of her mouth and she did it everytime she smiled so I was thrilled to see I captured that in almost all of her photos! Our session ended with the kids even tidying up the colouring table on their way out the door! Thank you all so much for coming by yesterday, it was a pleasure working with you.
